My figurative paintings are a vivid study of form,  line, and color, a sensual play with the boundaries of graphic, and imaginative imagery.  More ethereal than evocative, my abstract paintings are made with layers of light over dark, transparency and obscurity. The sphere depicting the dual sensibility of stillness and constant motion, an inspired sentiment from early motherhood. I create collage by visually sifting through images of nature, fashion, architecture and design until a story or solution emerges. As with my photography, there is a moment when everything falls into the right place at the right time and holds me in awe, a wild feeling rushing in. The feeling we all chase; JOY.
